Conversion Question

I have a question about converting 2 types of model files but i dot know were else to ask.

How can i convert

*.mdl files

to

*.gmax files or for BF2 *.con

Mabey even a plugin for 3Ds Max 7.0 Doesnt have to be .gmax or .con
