can you please tell me your operating temperatures? I'm concerned that my harsddrive is running at too high of temperatures at around 54 C (1 degree below recommended operating temperature of 5-55C)

can someone verify that this is normal for samsung HDD and list their operating tmperatures? thanks.

I have a Samsung 80gb, 5400 that ran 47 in my 2.0 700m and now runs 37 in the 1.6. That's 13 degrees more in the 2.0 that the Seagate 100, 5400 runs now, I have no clue why the variations.

I have a 40gb 5400 and its running at 55C.
