Vaio LCD problems--common?...help!

[IMG]Ok, I've had a bit of an issue with my display for a while... I'm still under my year warranty (don't know if this is covered though.. I suppose I could easily walk into a sony store and find out, but I figured it might be better if i try and find out what it is FIRST... i've had bad experiences with "tech" people having no clue what's going on..) So.. I have no dead pixels or anything, but I have these few bright spots, that i see when at angles that aren't dead on (but i can sometimes see them, depending on what's on the screen)(see images--circled are the spots, the other white screen one is head-on).. is this normal?.. what could it possibly be? also, i have these things that have appeared on my lcd screen that seem to have transferred from the keyboard (see image (ignore the big blob overtop them, as that is "fingerprint grease"))... they don't just wipe off, but i haven't tried the distilled water wipe yet.. (they do seem to require a little bit of force, but i can "scratch" (w/o scratching the display) with a fingernail. Anyone have any clues on the above and what i can do? Thanks!

i should also add this is a sony S-series (13.3" widescreen) with XBRITE (IMAGES BELOW)

dude, you can't link to images on your own harddrive, if you can't upload them here find a free photo upload host and upload them there. don't know of one? just use google

ok, so here they are

ok, so that's not a problem, i thought there was an upload feature...

anyway:
the white spots--circled in red (the line next to them across the screen is simply the reflection of the lights overhead) (sorry about the quality, this is the best the camera i was using could do--the spots are actually quite distinct and bright, not just slightly blurry like in the pic):

when viewed head on (barely can see the spots):

and the key marks on screen (on a black screen--also appears whenever there is a dark image behind them):

(this last one is with a red screen, which is why it looks funny at the bottom--don't worry, the colors are all fine)

I'm worried about my S series notebook now...

Do you routinely put alot of weight on the cover, like books in a backpack or something?

(Mine's relatively new, so no, I don't have these problems yet. Then again, I have a $400 warranty, so I'm not worried either)

mainly the light spots now..

well, i did the deionized/distilled water cleaning of hte screen and that removed most of the "key" marks (i think it was just dirt/hand grease from the keys transferring onto the screen) now the ones i have are extremely faint (probably just need a little more cleaning, or a proper lcd screen cleaner).. but the light spots are still there (obviously, becuase that's a behind the screen issue)..

I carry it in a neoprene laptop case, in my bookbag (usually that's all that's in there as i don't carry books on a regular basis), so I don't think it's being squished.
