Yep in three freakin days...how cool is that....should be here monday!!

I wonder how it will compare to my sager 8890.....I know it will kick butt battery life wise.

I will put up some numbers and a review after I get it.

my xps gen 2 is in the "boxing stage" and i ordered it 2 days ago.. hopefully its atleast done that by today

okay i got mine shipped three days after i ordered but now its in the hands of ups, bit its been on "Billing Information Received" status for a day now. does anyone know how long it will take to pass that stage?

I was planning on buying one, but the estiamted ship date is 9/14/05, how did yours ship out that fast? Or is their estiamted time very inaccurate.

its a buisness thing... Dell gives the WORST possible senerio, so customers wont complain if that worst possible senerio occured. plus customers would be happy that it is shipped earlier than expected. it usually takes 3-5 days for a laptop to be built and shipped from dell.

Well I ordered on the 15th was built and sent for shipping on the 18th and UPS says it will be delivered on the 22nd.
All in all pretty impressive...I ordered a inspiron 7000 a million years ago (in laptop life) and it took a lot longer than that. Seems farming all your work out to a different country pays off.

Mine was delivered in 3 days, from the Dell Outlet admittedly, and for more than 50% off regular price, think I've got the record for order to delivery here, but I still had to pay UK prices $1700 inc. shipping for the 2.1, 1GB DVDRW bundle . . .

ya i ordered mine...in a day they checked all but boxing, which i think boxing, for some reason takes 3 days lol. but its been like 2 days since i ordered it, so it should be shipping soon
