hi, i`m about to buy a new laptop!
i thinking of buying a ASUS Notebook A4K
Spec:
ASUS
15.4"(WXGA)
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
ATI 9700 64MB
512MB(256*2)
40GB
8X DVD+/-RW DUAL
WLAN
XP-Home

then I have some questions about this laptop:

- can I play CS, The Sims 2, Pro Cycling Tour 2005, FM 05,? on it, with no problems?
- have is it with the batteri? have many hours can I get out of it? with normal youse like Word, Nett surfing....

That looks like a powerful spec, though I dont know if the GPU is a performer here. The games that you play doesn't seem to be a big graphic-intensive, so you should be safe.

To get good battery life, go with the Turion processor as they run with lower voltage and are more geared towards mobility and battery life.
