It took about forever to convince myself but (with your help) I got my 5680. Everybody admires PCTorque, and they deserve it! But how come I never read that these come with some good software, i.e. dvd-viewing, cd burning and audio player? I was already prepared for not having any, except for a crappy dvd-player. Not that it bothers me of course.

Oh, and I wonder who had fun messing up the windows sounds: every time a window pops up the “windows start” (annoying) sound would play…

I ditched the Window's start up sound completely, now people turn and look whenever they hear the 'THX sound' issuing forth in all its might.

At least Sager has a sense of humor. I've ordered bricked drives from HPaq and they had in the box the little flier that basically said I was too busy to brick this drive here's how to do it. Not that was a real problem but I ordered the bricked one to save me some time in reloading the machine.
