Hi all. new to the forum so i hope this is the right place.
Im looking at the following laptop for work purposes (no games)
Price is $1500 australian. An alternative i have considered is the Ibook - they are around the same price (im in need of a 12" laptop)

I would prefer this model over its replacement[latitude X1]myself.
Depends on what sort of condition its in,you say its an ex display model,it would want to be in pretty new condition for that price just for the fact that it is an obsolete model,however if it is in good condition and you are going to get the standard 3 year Latitude warranty,seems a more than fair price to me and would suit your business purposes well.
Unless you or someone you know well is very familiar with Mac's I would steer clear.

thanks for the comments - its an ebay auction.

I have 2k to spend on a laptop...imshopping online on the dell, acer, hp, toshiba & ebay websites comparing laptops.
Its too confusing - too many choices!
