The problem is, most of you are not seeking the truth, instead you would prefer to continue the drama surrounding it in an attempt to destroy our credibility, but its not working. Ever since this fiasco came to life, and the infantile bashing began, it has been great for business, so please, carry on.

So you know, so far Discount Laptops has not exactly attacked your reputation; if anything, he's been the most informative and impartial this whole time, consistantly avoiding the drama. The fact is, if you
did screw Asus over in order to make this sale, you're going to be on very shaky ground with them; plus, if you did get an educational discount, I'm sure Asus is going to be a bit upset that they didn't get the money they should've gotten. Again, this is all assuming the worst, which may not have even happened--we don't know, and your credibility on these forums has been shot.
What's worse is that you're basically acting like a child, trying to lash out at people instead of controlling the situation--something DL saw mature enough to do. Have you considered taking this seriously and addressing the problem? BEcause every action you've taken--thus far--has only said you're guilty of the things you're being accused of. You're basically saying "Ha, Asus can do nothing," immediately after saying you're more or less innocent. The real reason I'm suggesting people make no more orders with you is because, quite frankly, who knows if you're going to be getting anymore?
EDIT: Just as a suggestion, its never too late to rise above the situation, so consider setting a good example for your company. ANy new buyer that comes to these boards--and they come everyday--is going to see these threads and think badly of ISTNC. Plus, if I saw another reseller acting this way, it would make me very hesitant about purchasing from their company (g2p, here's looking at you). Too many resellers have dropped the ball this time, not just you, Rick. Like I said, a few of the resellers have basically jumped in and gotten involved in an argument--on a public forum where sales come from, no less--impuning everybody's reputation.
Of course, none of this excuses Asus' actions (or lack thereof). Asus has basically cast a shadow of doubt on itself as well, and when the CEO gets back after vacation, it'll probably be addressed. Unfortunately, it also says a lot that, despite knowing this before they went on vacation last monday, they chose to ignore it.
