dude you need to put those rear speakers in the rear. I had my speaker set up like yours and as soon as i put them in the rear the sound improved 100%. It especially helps in movies and games. Otherwise you have a nice and clean set up.

Nice pics. It's always interesting to see how folks set up their systems.

Im not quite sure what you mean exactly. The rear speakers are in the rear. The picture is kind of deceiving. It almost looks as if the rear speakers are hanging over the front ones. Maybe that is what you mean?

Cool. I guess the holes just look smaller than they are. I use a Glock 30 (.45ACP) and the holes for it makes look huge in comparision.

No you need to take them off the desk and place them behind your chair. You're not achieving full surround sound unless you put the speakers behind you. It will improve your gaming experience.

Since I don't have a place to put surround speakers behind me (because of the room layout) I have a Creative SurroundStation. I originally bought it for my desktop computer a few years ago. Now that all I use is laptops I found the laptop fits on it .. Not the prettiest thing but it works very good and allows you to keep the speakers out of the way when not in use.

Here is a review of it with a few photos.

A few of the pics from the review. I don't have any photos of it with my setup right now.

LOLOLOLOL

Rear speakers are suppose to be BEHIND you physically, so to provide a surround sound experience (by surrounding you with sound). What you have there is rear speakers behind the front speakers, which is useless. LOLOLOL

My setup doesn't allow for me to put the damn speakers behind, so therefore I can't achieve surround sound. I would have liked to do that, however the rear speakers have very short wires and the the nearest thing to hold those speakers is the wall which is too far away. I don't really care because I just wanted some speakers that sounded better than the internal ones. The only thing I use the speakers for is gaming. I use my headphones for listening to music and watching movies. Oh, btw they are the Logitech X-530. I would love to somehow place the speakers on the rear wall, any suggestions?
