yea i have the x530 too and i hate how damn short those rear speaker wires are mine too are infront of me. i could put it behind me but then the sub would have to be smack dab in the middle of the room looking really ugly and the rear speaker wires would have to be full stretched out to the back and same with the front to reach the front of the desk. lol but of course this looks retarded
as for buying longer speaker wire thats a good idea if you can find some. i dunno what type of speaker wire it is and ive been looking for some but i just gave up.
but i didnt kno they are wall mountable... lol i held it up the wall and was like wtf this is retard its point straight down how retarded... yeah didnt know the base could swivel...shut up

Thanks for the kind replies folks, oh and I have no idea if that is an "airline" blanket. I never thought it could be one until you mentioned it. Maybe it is lol

I don't really care because I just wanted some speakers that sounded better than the internal ones. The only thing I use the speakers for is gaming. I use my headphones for listening to music and watching movies. Oh, btw they are the Logitech X-530. I would love to somehow place the speakers on the rear wall, any suggestions?
i guess you could try mounting them. i have heard of kits where u can splice the wire to a wireless reciever.

I thought about doing something along those lines, but I hate the speakers, so I decided to buy new ones that are high quality and don't take up as much space. I saved up some money and ordered these baby's and gave the the x-530's to a friend.

I love the way those keyboards light up

just goto wal-mart and pick up two speaker stands. Mount the speakers on them and when your gaming put them behind and when your done just move them next to your desk. Thats why i do.
