So, I have the T43p 14.1 inch with the extended battery. I've been searching for a sleeve for a while. I have a Swiss Army backpack, but I don't want to have to carry a backpack with me all the time. I'm not especially worried about anything happening when dropping the laptop. I've dropped mine and it doesn't hurt it at all. Scratch resistance and not having to carry just a laptop is the main point.
I searched through the forums and these are what I came up with:
Waterfield Sleevecase: http://www.sfbags.com/products/sleev...leevecases.htm
Well-built, protective, gets good reviews, but expensive when you just spent around $80 on a backpack.
Timbuk2: http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/catalog/c...?categoryId=35
Good looking, scratch-proof, cheaper, but the dimensions don't match exactly.
Shinza: http://shinza.com/product_info.php?products_id=45
Same price, good protection. Having other color choices is nice. But again, my laptop is a tiny bit bigger in the dimensions, but certainly thinner in height.
Also, is it unreasonable to think i could fit a power cord along with any sleeve I would get (other than the excessive monetary addition that the WF asks for)?
Any opinions? Thanks in advance!
Edit: Oh darn, I didn't count the battery in measurements. Sizes will have to be adjusted then.
