Battery Calibration Utility

Hi,

I recently purchased an Asus Z70V and was checking out the BIOS settings when I accidentally initiated the Asus Battery Calibration Utility.

Now, I understand the purpose for this utility, but can somebody shed some light on how long the process takes? If it matters, my battery was fully charged already before I accidentally ran the utility. Most importantly though, is there a way to safely stop this process?

i accidentally did same thing. i waited or a while and seeing that it was going to take a long time, i just pushed the power button to turn the laptop off. then upon restarting and checking the status of the battery in CHC, everything seemed fine.

Ironically, that's pretty much what the battery config is there to find out: how long it takes to run down your battery. It should take between 3 and 4 hours
