WXGA means more games will be able to run in native resolution w/ out sacrificing to much performance with the X700 GPU. Also playing games at 1024x768 and turning of the stretch in the drivers to run it in native resolution will still fill up practically the whole screen! And will look and play awesome. Try that on a WSXGA+ or higher and it will look like a little stamp in the middle of the screen LOL!.

It won't look THAT good @ 1024x768. You'd probably be better off sticking with native @ 1280x800. Otherwise, the WSXGA+ should look better if you had to play at non-native 1024x768 due to its higher pixel count, which should allow it to do a better job at the interpolation.
... FORGET IT, I just figured out what you were talking, about, lol! That's a cool idea; I wonder if you wouldn't mind the 20%, horizontally, of the screen that you'd be missing. I guess it's not that much. Anyways, in defense of my mistake, I'll say: make sure you type BOTH "f's" in "off"
