FREE SHIPPING ON 51m's! Call your Rep!

Hey guys,
Just an update...free shipping has just kicked in on area51m laptops. AW has a good policy about extending all offers/promotions up until the day your machine ships. Be sure to call up and get FREE SHIPPING.

And one more thing,
BE NICE ABOUT IT. These people will work overtime for you if you treat them with a bit of respect and understanding that they are new and still adjusting to AW's way of doing things. You'll catch more flies with honey! Just call up and say you'd like free shipping...that's all.

under the promotions area on their website they say free shipping except for sentia i think.

Well I tried to see if I could get free shipping but I can't get a real person on the line. Stupid voice messages keep sending me around in loops and so does the extension that I have. Oh yeah and after 30 mins on hold I once again got disconnected.

yeah they must be having problems cuz its sending me on a loop to and then disconnecting me... THEN it actually called me back.. and put me on hold.. lol it was strange..

I tried hard but couldn't get it because the idiot I spoke with (who barely spoke English), said he couldn't verify that my laptop shipped or not yet (Phase 13).

Well genious, if you cannot verify that it didn't ship, it most likely DID NOT. I'm writing a manager to get that $70 off my credit card.

They told me it was only for new orders but I sent an E-mail and asked again! It all depends on who you talk to. Unfortunatly most of them tell you what you don't want to hear.

Thanks for the heads up! I called and got free shipping on the A51m2 I ordered last week.

Well tried again and the same thing happened. Waited for half an hour and then got disconnected. Now I can't call them at all since I just get some random beeping when I dial their number.

I had no problems...they even followed up with a nice email about crediting me $70 back on my American Express card. Yay for good aliens!

I do not recall his name but I see the name "Chris" on the email they sent me verifying the $70 credit.

Just be sure you explain to them that they have agreed to "honor all current offers and promotions up until the day your machine ships". Those are their words. Again, I'm sure this goes without saying but being courteous and calm on the phone will get you what you want...in any setting.

I hope that helped.
