OK, I don't see why anyone should be surprised that a Dell DTR performs better than an Acer 8104. I also don't see why this is in an Asus thread.

Hey liveisnotlive... your signature: your Z70Va is a 15.4" WSXGA+... SXGA+ is 1400x1050, whereas WSXGA+ is 1680x1050

how bad is the "sunrise" effect on the bleed, is it noticible when playing games

Aurora- thanks! I'll fix that, guess I should pay more attention to what I write!

davez82- I've definitely not noticed it. The only thing I have noticed is a weird sort of rainbow on the very edge of the screen (bottom and right) while playing WoW. it might be that a tiny bit of the screen is showing from behind its frame that shouldn't be visible. It's not really something to worry about if you're looking into buying one.
