Possibly memtest but never heard of Prime95. RAM problems were not suspected, Dell and Microsoft kept sending me to "Drivers".
It was when I took it apart to clean the lint and dust that I noticed the difference in the PC2700/PC2100 and tried operating on 512MB instead of the 1024MB that I was used to. A lot slower, but was completely stable from that point on.
Both Crucial and Dell insisted that PC2100 was for me, I had to go into a M60 UpGrade site to find the PC2700 and match what Dell had installed.
Then it still ran at 266MHz until I Flashed the BIOS to M60 and now they operate at 333MHz.
