2005FPW Model LCD Wide - Line through screen

I just got my Dell maybe an hour ago (XPS GEN 5) and I got a 2005FPS flat screen. All is fine, no dead pixels, but I had this odd line going through from top to bottom on the left side of my screen that shows up against dark colors, and barely against light.

Anyone have a clue at what this might be?

It's probably a defect screen. My first 9200 screen had a thin bright green line from top to bottom too. But only seeable against certain color background. That sounds like what you just described. I'd ask Dell to replace it.
