How to: Make a Dual Boot w/ Windows XP 64-bit Pro and Windows XP 32-bit Pro?

Hi can anyone explain to me the steps in making a Dual Boot setup on a notebook with Windows XP 64-bit Pro and Windows XP 32-bit Pro.

Current setup is: 100GB HD split into 2 partitions. Windows XP 64-bit Pro is installed on the first partition.

Now how do I install Windows XP 32-bit Pro on the second partition and make a boot menu to select OS at start up?

If someone could explain a good way to do this I would be eternally greatfull!

It's really simple.
Make sure you have a bootable XP CD.
Pop that CD in; restart your system.
Agree to the prompts on startup and select the second partition (not the one with x64) and install it there.
XP will do the rest and give you a menu to choose which version to run upon startup after the install has finished.
I dual-boot on my Ferrari 3200 and love it.

Cool thanks. Then I'll know what to do when it arrives with Windows XP 64-bit installed.

why wouldnt u be able to install regular xp if u already have x64 on there.

if u have two separate partitions, then it doesnt matter.

if u have just one, then u should be able to format over x64 and install the regular....

Why would you want two Windows XPs?

Just asking, not trying to be a wise-ass or anything.

I might put it on my computer because I have it and to see what it's like.

cause as far as i know is that u cant install older OS if there's a newer OS already in the machine.
and for dual boot, is so that i cant use the X64, but still able to run older application and stuff on the 32 bit if i need to :P
