Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have an Acer 1662 laptop with a Radeon 9700 mobile graphics card. It has half a Gig of RAM.
When I run programs such as Acrobat, Word Processing, games etc, I notice that the screen and computer will "freeze" for a second or two whilst the hard disk is activated. The screen then catches up with what should be shown and continues as normal.
I have run software that assures me I do not have any malicious spyware or viruses and my computer is "clean". I cannot find any indication of a hardware fault.
Can anyone advise me as to what I can do to make the graphic display more smooth?
