Hitachi 7K6 Travelstar

I have had hell trying to find this hdd. Do any of you know why its so hard to find? Do any of you know of an online store that carries it? (So far I keep finding sites that have it on back order.)

Alternatively, what other brands do you guys recommend? (I'm thinking Samsung or Seagate.)

Hitachi had supply troubles a few months back.

Not sure if they've fully recovered by now.

For alternatives, I highly recommend Seagate

Alright, I think I'm going to go Seagate. However, I have a question.
Whats the difference between a SATA and Ultra ATA hdd interface? Would it matter which one I got for my laptop?

For the I8600 you need UATA as SATA is not supported by your system

*sigh* Well..guys...I'm having hell finding a Seagate hdd..It seems they're on back order or it will take two weeks before they'll ship..So do you guys know of any places I could get it quicker?

Just one question: which drive did you decide on? THe Seagate Momentus 5400 or 7200.1? The 7200 is apparently fairly rare (and expensive), so it wouldn't be surprising if it were difficult to find. If you're talking about the 5400, I actually saw a fairly nice deal on one at Best Buy...
