That's what I did. I've already uninstalled the software but if I recall correctly, it kept giving me a V-access or V-something error when I tried to run the .exe

Ge|atinousFury, I have sent a PM to you regarding the access violation.

Also, I have studied the data sheet for the pll chip some more, and it seems as you CAN control the cpu fsb, memory speed and PCI/AGP clocks independently from each other. It would be possibly to set memory and PCI/AGP clocks to stock speed and only overclock the cpu.

CPU/RAM indepented

Now we only need a Prg. that can spec. ICS 952618BF pll Chip with all options, changing the CPU/RAM/PCI divider. We can call the man from www.podien.de. he makes such a programm for the ICS952611BF and ICS 952607BF.When we pay a little he make also a Prg. for the ICS952618BF

warp8, nice to see that you are reading the forum, there are some questions for you in the PAT thread.

Well, Henrik made a great suggestion to download the dev. tools off of his website instead of the official website to make sure we were using the exact same versions for troubleshooting purposes. To my surprise the program works perfectly now since I matched my version with the one he is using.

My cpu idle temp is 42 C with Arctic Silver III applied

The "Arctic Silver" guide will be finished not long from now also.

My cpu is a 3.06GHz w\ HT enabled

Henrik, where exactly is the thermistor on the motherboard? Or does it even read from a thermistor? In socket or what?

believe there is a thermal diode on the die

I see. Thanks for the info. I had no idea that the chip itself had the sensor on it.

Yes, its the internal sensor inside the cpu itself I'm reading, thats the only sensor in our mobos
