It is written Satellite PRO 4200 series on it (under the screen).
If there is another reference number, I do not know where to find it.

Give me some mor specs.
I have a toshiba Satelliet 4200 Pro.
Specs: 500 Mhz, 24x CD-ROM, 40GB HDD, FDD(burned out), S3- 8MB 3D video card, 13,3" TFT, 64MB RAM.
Currently waiting for a new mobo cause the Ram burned out. Hopfully I'm gonna get a new FDD and a bigger CPU for it to!

In general it is really endurable model. Their screens aren't very good, but the system is pretty stable. It warms up a little bit especially since I mounted in the new HDD.
By the way...I also got it from someone and it was a junk then and... NOW MY MASTER PEACE IS ALMOUST FINISHED!!!!
When I get the mobo I will write a whole instruction: "How to build your own latop from scratch!"

Good to know that someone has a similar latop to mine not just 4-5 times faster ones!

Use it well!

Well now, since yesterday, I have a new M60...

All you have said I true, it seems really really tought. I think It is almost 10 years old ! I will send detailled specs when I return from vacation, around sept 6.

I installed photoshop CS and autocad 2005 on my new M60 and photoshop 4 (!) and autocad 14 on the pro 4200. And I asked myself, are we doing better work now, with faster computer and newer programs ? I am sure I could do almost the same with the Pro. Plus, PHshop4 is loading way faster on the pro than CS version on the M60
