5600D (5660) Mini-PCI slot

Does anyone here use their Mini-PCI slot on this model of laptop? If so, what do you use it for? I'm especially interested in using it for Wifi, but I read that this model doesn't actually have an internal ariel, so how did you get around that or did you manage to get it to work without one?

I put a broadcom one in mine. i did not have an antenna so i ended up disassembling my sager and putting one in. it was a bit of a pain but not horrible if you have some experience.
