They may be in essence the "father" of the modern 3D era, with ATI currently being the more advanced off-spring.
But I digress......
Hey I am not wishing for anything except that we get the best graphics cards possible regardless what company makes them. If Nvidia's next card is better than ATi's then thats what I am getting. I remember having a Diamond Monster 3D and later a Voodoo 3 but then Nvidia took over and made some really great cards so I got a GeForce 2. I also feel (and I think a lot of people will agree with me here) that the FX line has been a disappointment which is why I am currently using an ATi card in my desktop.
I was just making a bit of fun of the comment made by the Nvidia VP that the FX Go resulted in the first true gaming notebook considering that the card hasn't been getting the greatest reviews and ATi is generally considered the better option. I am still skeptical about the 5700 but if Nvidia surprises me by releasing a great mobile card that smokes the M10 then I will be the first to pick it up.
