Hello. I'm a happy new aspire owner, alltho I have experienced some kind of slowing down -behaviour when playing games (with heavy graphics
). Is it, that when h/w get's hot enough, computer slows down to reduce the heat production? This would explain this behaviour, but it sucks if I get to play only 15minutes(or even less!) before game will slow down (not fps's drop, but game speed does)
Other thing related to this issue is playing after coming back from stand-by-mode. This is especially when this problem occurs. In fact, this is how it first happaned. This happens with battery and with AC power.
My notebook's bottom-side is quite hot, hot, tho I have not used laptop's before to have a comparision how hot it should/would be.
Gonna d/l some s/w to get some degrees from h/w (hehe some abbreviations) to see how hot things get here.
Any clues appreciated generously.
