M45 cd/dvd drive replacement

I accidently dropped my laptop, and the cd/dvd drive quit working. Everything seems fine. I can't really send it to a repair shop for warranty (or non warranty) work, as we're fulltime rv'ers and well that just won't work. I'm hoping a simple connection has come loose, but I've never opened a laptop other than for a memory upgrade, and was hoping someone might have a schematic or be able to tell me how to access the drive?

Anyone know how to access the drive? keyboard come off?

M40...you dont need to remove the keyboard to remove the drive....

its the ONE screw label "F4" right next to the label underneath the unit...

that is all...then you can gently pull the optical drive out.
