anyone else having problems with their ms pro slot?

the ms pro slot in the card reader doesn't seem to read my ms pro stick all the time. it would read it twice, for example, then it won't read it again until i take another picture or write something else on the ms pro card, or format it again with the camera. it will just stay in an autoplay loop and freeze the computer.

this is so annoying because a desktop rig's card reader reads the card just fine all the time.

also have problem with MS pro slot

I also started having problems with the MS Pro slot. When I put a card in the slot, a little box pops up in windows XP like its reading/scanning the card, then disappears, then pops up again, then disappears, etc.. It worked find for about 5 or 6 times, then started having this problem.

Who is the maker of the media pro card...is it a sony or San Disk. My sony's work perfectly in the slot...the San Disk over 256mb have been reported to have problems. I have 2 512mb San Disk and they don't work in my slot but I use the usb from the camera to work around it.

it is a san disk 1 gig ms pro card.

I frequently use a lexar stick and a sony duo w/ sony adapter in the slot with no problems.

i have the same problem but only with SANDISK 512 DUO PRO.with SONY PRO 256 i have no problem.
