It looks good. Also, is that the minimum amount of ram? You can get it cheaper from newegg.com. And, welcome to the forum.
Edit, I just tried it a dell.com, and 256ram is the minimum. I don't know if that, will save you some $. Otherwise, if you keep all of the Dell parts, they will be under warranty. Some people go that route.

I think you will like the i6000, it is a great Laptop, and portable if you want it. I take mine to work on a daily basis. I wuv it.

Yep, the i6000 is a good size, like the i8600. Great as a desktop replacement with a 15.4" screen.

Definately love this machine. I didn't know about it, but after I get my 2nd 1GB chip in and start running some dual channel 2GB's of goodness, this thing will be sweet. I love it already, I cant' imagine how smooth it should run.

wtferell,

how about pinmod for your 6000?

If I can find the processor for a pretty good price, I'll most definately do it. I have the 1.6 @ 533 right now. If you come across anything for a good price, let me know. That would make a world of difference I'm sure. Did you put the AS5 on yours when you did it? The cheapest I've found so far was for around $230. I just can't forsee that much right now although I know it'd probably be well worth it.

I got mine from eBay for $164 shipped, sold my original for $150.
So the total came around $20

Yes, I did put AS5 on it, essentially burning the bridges to go back to original.
