Deal too good to be true?

I just stumbled upon this little nugget while doing some tech shopping. If it does what I think it does, it essentially gives you a free stick of 512 notebook RAM.

I think you're supposed to use this coupon,

and apply it to this

but maybe I just missed something? I wonder what the BB execs were thinking with this one hehehe

Tell me if it's any good... I just wish I had a BB in my area to test it out with

I think the coupon is just a little poorly worded. I dont think it'll give you 90 dollars off on $60 ram, but you will get $90 when you buy ram AND the installation service. If installation service costs $60, plus $60 for ram, and then minus $90, you pay 30 for installation, and void your warranty because it counts as service done by a third party. not that great, imo.

Sixty bucks for installing RAM?! Man, the poor suckers who fall for that rip-off...

Just an tiny little update:

I just used the coupon to buy a $65 stick of ram. It was $30 for installation, but they allowed me to just take $30 off the value of the coupon, so they didn't install the ram for me. In effect it was $60 dollars off, so I ended up buying the ram for 5 bucks. The $20 dollars off the harddrive works too, and it stacks with rebates (bought 160 gig HD for 20 bucks).

A friend and I used it to get some Kingston ram for FREE (I paid nothing, even tax). But was told at another BB that it was a typo. The coupon was meant to be used on new Desktop and Notebook purchases. So you had to get a new computer to use the coupon. This was posted on slickdeals a couple weeks ago. Good luck for any who try to use anyways like I did.
