I just wanted to let you guys know that I have talked to a guy at Pacific Notebooks at Pacific Mall and he informed me the price of the W2V at their store will be 2999 (I'm guessing no tax). This is great news for Canadians!

Does anyone else know any other places that will be offering this price or cheaper? He also told me they are expecting it very soon!

I am putting a down payment on one

Canadasys sucks though. Their service is horrible (the reps are unfriendly and unwilling to help) and they charge you with restocking fees. On the other hand, I talked to the person in Pacific Notebooks before and they were friendly, honest, and knowledgable.

Um ... I had the exact opposite experience with CanadaSys. I bought my Z70V from them recently, and had no problems. They were friendly and helpful ... check their forum at www.notebookforum.ca ...

Just like most computer stores. If PacificNotebooks doesn't have a restocking fee then that's a nice surprise, they definitely wouldn't be the norm.

I don't blame the stores for having the fee, they already sell with really low margins and accepting returns because the customer didn't know what they wanted or didn't research before hand shouldn't be their problem unless the store was the one that recommended the part.

so the question is when are you actually expecting it to arrive...
