At which resolutions will the Vaio FS-660 handle HL2 and BF2?

i don't know about bf2. But if you clock the 6200 tc card to its standard 350/700 clockspeed and running at 1024 x 768 res, you can play half-life 2 pretty well.

install coolbits2 to add the overclocking option in your nvidia display option. check out this article to learn more about the 6200 tc's capability after overclocking!

personally i wouldn't overclock to the point of the author if you are using a laptop as the ventilation is inferior to a desktop.

I can play BF2 at medium resolutions with everything off. I average about 50 fps but during high action sequences the count can dip to about 20 fps. I didn't install the driver included with the game, i am guessing it is optimized for the game and will result in better fps. Mild OC 300/600 with the standard Sony Forceware 70.87. For true playablility, you'll need a faster card.

hey pygo, did you play doom 3 on your laptop? I was able to play at 800x600 on high quality with rare fps drop. For best performance on doom 3, i have to use medium quality but the graphic quality dropped a lot.

I didn't install it on this notebook, for some odd reason i get motion sickness with some first person shooters.
