Composite video in TV tuner problem.

I tried the antenna out from my cable box into the tv tuner card (via the adapter) but I need a long cable and the quality was bad sso I tried a composite video cable.

I have a composite cable coming out of my cable box. I tested it inot my TV and the picture is good but when I put the cable inot the composite port on the tv tuner media center does not detect a picture.

Does anyone know if the composite feed should work in the tuner card or not.

I called tech support and no one returned my phone call (is this normal?). Thought I would post here but I guess tech support does not monitor this forum ?? I'm a new owner so I am not familiar with the "protocol".
