Could I have multiple responses before I take my Ferrari for a "tune up"

I need a 100% solid, preferably from a user who has already done so using eRecovery.

When using eRecovery does it only restore C: [format/restore] and COMPLETELY leave D: intact with its DATA [Music/Movies/Documents]
UNTOUCHED & INTACT?

I really need to know before so I do not lose my data that is too much for me to back up!

I have so many thread regarding eRecovery and one seems to contradict the other, conflicting reports.
