9300 3dMark 05 benchmark

Hey all, my 9300 just came in this past Tuesday and I've been tweaking it since then, ie. reformat, undervolt, overclock 6800, install Litestep and YzDock, etc.

I've never really been a gamer cause I use my laptop primarily for music, however I've starting participating in a couple LAN parties with a buddy playing FarCry and Return to Castle Wolf. I got this 9300 with the 6800 so I could use it for those games.

I overclocked my 6800 to 355/745 using the prescribed methods and my scores are 3713. That seems a little low compared to some other 9300's. Should I expect more and what kind of performance could I expect on a game like FarCry? I've been reading about AA/AF and I'm wondering what kind of settings I could shoot for with that kind of setting.

My other specs are:
PM 740(1.73ghz) undervolted using CHC to .70/1.12
1gb DDR533mhz
256mb 6800 OC'd 355/745
60gb 7200 rpm HD
WXGA

Thx!
Jonathan

Check your Powermizer settings in the Driver Control Panel. Are you running the test plugged in or on battery?

The computer is plugged in and I thought I was running on Max Performance, but I'll double check when I'm home.

I also forgot to mention that I'm using the 77.77 drivers for the 6800.
