How many here are addicted to their computer? - Page 2

I like to eat, drink (alcohol), f@ck and play (computers, golf, hunt...etc) in that order and often.

BF2, for the military game lover, is totally addicting. It re-arranges my order to BF2, F@ck, eat, drink...and play other things.

And knowing I've ordered my first XPS-2 last week it can only get better.

Hi, my name is Nate, and I am a computerholic.

Actually I really don't spend much time on my XPS2, I bought it to serve a purpose and those purpose won't present itself until I get overseas in a couple months. You might say I have a computer problem though, I've got 4 in my computer room, 1 old lappy I keep next to the couch for internet, and I just set up another computer in my garage so I can use it while I'm working on my trucks. That's not even counting the 2 my wife has.

Oh well, I guess it's better than being addicted to crack.

If your wife/husband/kids/significant other comment that you might have a problem, tell them that you just as easily could have taken the $1500 (and any additional software purchases) you spent on it and started spending your days at a bar/casino/strip club/crack house instead of at home. They'll quickly see that this is definitely a lesser of all evils.

Unless your one of the future "Man dies of heart attack after playing video games for 38 hours" headlines that make us all look bad. If you are, please make sure you let your CS:S team know your going AFK before you croak. Just common courtesy.

It has already started to affect my schoolwork! (Like right now for example I'm supposed to be working on my managerial accounting homework.)
Fortunately my wife hasn't left me yet.

not yet but I'm close : ) , better be addicted to a laptop then to drugs/alcohol and other bad stuff..

I'm not addicted, but the ease of use and portability has caused my computer time to go way up. My old desktop sits in my office, which doesn't have a TV in it, so when I net surf or just putter around I don't take too long. But, now that I can sit in the living room with my XPS Gen 2 on my lap, I spend half my time looking at it and the other half trying to see the TV over the top of the LCD screen. And with that big boy, that ain't easy.

i'm not addicted... i COULD stop using em... course i'd prolly DIE! certainly would go through some hellish withdrawals... the females in my life would certainly say YES!!! i've actually had gf's that were jealous lol

i turn it on in the morning and off when i go to sleep lol it's one of the reasons i've never owned a desktop, makes it soooo easy to sit on the couch and watch tv too, go out on the deck, just anywhere i want... i've still got my RJ-45 outlets all over the house but wireless makes it so much easier, especially playing poker, don't even miss a hand when i pee lol

I am addicted, my gf gets on my case.
My wife says that I love my laptop more then her. I tried to convince her that that is not the case, but all evidence seems to support her theory. I am so ashamed.

I wish I could turn off my gf like my XPS2.
