Will this ram work with a Dell 700m?
9/10 times it will and return it if it doesn't
post #4 of 20
Somehow it shows the price of $199 when I am going to BB site..

$199-$90 = $100

I can do better than that.

Am I missing something?

K-byte ram is 59.99 now instead of kingston
post #6 of 20
Wow, that's still pretty clever...
As far as I know, huge YMMV, especially since so many people know about this now (on all deal sites) that BB is likely to reject this deal, wether legal/valid or not.

Got my free stick in Fort Wayne, IN on Saturday. Success really depends on the mod though.

If this works, you are the BIG ROXOR!1111

I think that if it is free, then it isn't worth much. But that's just me.

Thats neat!

Nice, I am going to give this a try tonight, and if I have success, off to the next Best Buy for another one......

I got this deal ( 3 of them) a few weeks ago, they even sent me a 4th one for no apparent reason.

I really didnt need the 4th one and tried to return it but they made it very difficult

Slickdeals.net and fatwallet.com have these deals all the time

where in fort wayne? off of coliseum or at jefferson pointe?
Tried it today. No way in hell. They mumbled about someone cutting the ad and said it was only valid with the computer purchase.

Oh well. Too good to be true.

i tryed today, got it free, but when they tried to install it, they realized my Lappy couldnt take DDR1, and needed DDR2, (which they dont carry at Best Buy)

If a nice soul who got this deal, but can't or doesn't need it wants to sell it to me, I am looking to upgrade my 700m. Send me a PM!

The Jefferson Pointe one. I was able to get a stick at the one on Coliseum, but when I came back later that evening I found out they stopped allowing the coupon.

Demented, you have a slight error in your sig. Your 700m has 1bb of RAM
post #20 of 20
I tried the one at Jefferson Pointe today at around 1:20pm CST.

They told me it wasn't valid; that it was a counterfieted coupon. I called the 800 number and they said it was valid, however, only with the purchase of a new laptop. So basically, I was sitting there looking at this big sombitch while talking on the phone with this guy that was obviously from cambodia and felt pretty much like I couldn't win. Joker was reading off of a cue card and then this Geek Squad with tattoos all up and down his arms and a demented look on his face...

yeah, bitches...i felt like a tool making so much ruckus...cambodia couldn't say anything other than what was on a cue card and then demented bastard didn't say anything but, it's counterfeit.

I'm going to buy a gig of ram at newegg for 125tonight...

how the **** best buy sells their ram for 200bucks a stick for 512mb is beyond me...and how the **** anybody...ANYBODY would pay that much is beyond me as well.

PS: The gas I purchased today was 3.29 for unleaded...can't ya just see the problems coming at least until the katrina catastrophe is settled and we can get gas out? Pretty soon, it won't even be worth it to get free ram. haha...you'll pay for it in gas money. bastards...
