Aussie i9300 members? - Page 2

Personally I wouldn't waste my money on the 6800Ultra, because of the extra hassle involved with also getting a different Northbridge heatsink, and the fact it uses more power.

However, I am quietly optimistic that when the 7800go is released, that it will be a worthwhile investment...

I'm from Sydney.

I'm more than happy with my i9300, use it all the time except for gaming. For that I use my 7800GTX sli beast.

But for everything else aside from gaming the i9300 has just about replaced my desktop pc.

ausssiieiees

Hey fellow aussies.

Im in Perth also boosted. Great lil city. Im wasting too much time on my lappy, i got it for to help me study but all i do is watch tv series and play games pretty much non stop hehe

Cant remember the last time i used my PC for anything, maybe to turn it on so i could use the printer wirelessly through my network heh

Anyway, its a great lil lappy quiet and strong. Wish i bought 2 gigs of ram though and of course i was under the impression that it came with a GIGABIT ethernet card but this is not the case, so i need to spend a few $$ and get one. Shame really, other than that its a little beauty!! Dont think i can ever go back to regular PC use.

Hope the 7800 is upgradeable for our models OH can you imagine 64bit dual core notebooks with 4 gigs of ram! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Hi again all, just thought i'd post my experiences with upgrading my wi-fi card.

Recently i've just picked up a second hand senao b/g 23dbm minipci card for AUD$45 and replaced it with the intel one and I can say that it rocks !!! Its way more powerful and stable than the intel piece of sh!t.

andochan: same here bro ! I really have to stop playing games and get back to uni work.

Anyone here played the F.E.A.R demo ? I cant wait for the full game to be released !!!
Sup fusion,
actualli i downloaded F.E.A.R demo , TWICE! each time when i tried to run it came up with some "resource" error message, and after the first time i redownloaded it. after the second time i thought "stuff it" LOL

Also , on the issue of the RAM, i currently have 1X512 MB, i thinkz i shud get a 1GB stick of RAM from ebay US or something.
the RAM in australia is WAAAAAAY too expensive

anyways have 3 major assessments due in teh next week , havent started one yet! LMAO

gotta start tomoro! hehe

peace all
