5670 Video Problem

Searched the forums but couldn't find this problem detailed. I have updated the drivers for the 9000 and the chipset. I see the same problem (though in a different location) when booting Damn Small Linux so it looks like it's a video card issue rather than the LCD panel or Windows.

That looks to be a cable or controler issue. Have you tried on an external monitor?

Thanks for the help! Tried attaching an external monitor but it too exhibited the same problem.

Any other ideas? Looks like I might need to send my unit back to Sager for repair. Aargh!

Sorry for the late reply. Yep that's a hardware issue, the mobo. Time to call/email sager or whoever your warranty if any is through.
