Thread Starter
I got a 9300. CLeaned my disk and start from scratch. I use FireFox to browse. Have spybot and microsoft antispyware.
Every time i run spybot, and i do it daily,i find anywhere from 10 to 30 items i need to delete.
I inmunize and all that.
Is there anyway i can avoid spyware completely or this small amount i have to live with?

You sure these just aren't the "tracking cookies" that you get from browsing the web? You can go into Tools, Options in firefox and disable all cookies, then see what that gets you.

could be your ISP. I've never had a problem with my desktop on the ISPs I've used. I'm going to have to watch now with my laptop since I've heard that they are horrid for attracking stuff.

Yea, more than likely the spybot program is finding stuff like cookies and such just from your browsing sessions. You could always crank up the security in firefox to accept all cookies, and of course just be careful where you browse to. I've had friends who constantly kept getting crap on their computer when in fact they would just keep revisting "questionable" sites.

I just use Spybot, Ad-aware, Avast antivirus, and microsoft's spyware thingy and I've never had major issues with spyware or viruses.

Make sure you are getting the updates. I would use Ad-Aware SE also.
