I know that this problem has been around for a while, but i haven't seen a solution on these forums yet.
On my m40-yp3, i can hear a high-pitched buzzing sound coming from the left speaker. The sound isn't audible in high-noise environments, but in quiet - semi quiet places, it is quite lound, and can be very annoying.
After searching a bit on google, someone suggested that a BIOS update fixes the problem. (or in some cases, makes the buzz quieter)
I just wanted to report, that, after downloading the latest BIOS update from toshiba, that the buzzing did go away, and I urdge anyone else experiencing the problem with their laptop, to download it.
Just thought i'd share this, and give a definite answer (the few forums that i visited had this suggestion, but no followups)
