I am in research mode for a new laptop at the moment. I'm looking at amongst others the Area 51m.
It seems to me more than a few people have issues with the Built-In Wireless MiniPCI Card, for whatever reasons.
I was thinking of getting round these problems by getting this D-Link bundle. And make use of the new 108MBPS draft.
Ok cool!
So If I was to go this way, my PCMCIA Slots filled and I'm not using the MiniPCI slot.
Could I put a Bluetooth card in the vacant MiniPCI slot?
I don’t like the USB dongles.
Would the card be able to make use of the antenna built into the screen?
If the above is possible, does anyone know of a good HID compatible card, so it will work with the Logitech BT Mouse .
Or a couple of companies that produce good BT cards, to give me a start on the right track.
Any hands on Advise on the wireless\Blue tooth gear I’m thinking of getting. Would be much appreciated as well.
