Leader of the Pack

Thread Starter
I though Sager was the leader of the pack.
No news since July.
No 19" notebook in the works.
No Amd64 17" notebook

All I have to look forward to is the xbox 360.

I really need a notebook though.
I am still debating on if I should a gaming notebook rig or not.
I know it has to be 64 bit and at least 17".

A 19" notebook!!! Your kidding, right?

The AMD 64 17" is on its way, though they are behind schedule. I remember when we thought it would be out in march :-)

Hopefully there is no news 'cos their working so hard on the D900K :-)

Does anyone have a 19" notebook? If so, anyone have a link? The 17" notebooks are big, 19" would be ... bigger.

There aren't very many 19" notebooks in the works yet that I have heard of. I think Clevo/Sager is the leader.

Samsung 19" Notebook ?

This is a little off topic (it applies to 19" notebooks, but not Sager), but does anyone know why Samsung Notebook PCs are not offered in the U.S.?

Does anyone really need a 19" notebook for their needs? I have never had a moment where I stopped and said "Man, I wish I had a bigger notebook"

Well I would even go as far to say that I would take a 20" notebook if they would make one. Typically the crowd that already wants a D900t/D900k would kill for something even bigger, but thats just IMHO.

Concurz. Size/portability doesn't matter a bit to me. I want a super-duper computer I can easily fold up and lug with me. I'd like a 19" or bigger.

I have to take my computer in to work every day, so I'll stick with 17". If I had to fly with it all of the time, I'd even go down a bit in size. I want the power of the Sager notebooks, but I don't want the back problems => a 19" notebook (and all of the cool stuff they'd stick in it).

But hey, everyone has their own tradeoff points! Love the fact that we have such great choices that meet so many needs.

same here..i'm lugging in a 15" already and 17" is the max hence the d900k, can't imagine the size of the roller or back pack if it has to pack in a 19" or 20"..that WOULD be fun to have on your back, let alone no chance to use it on the airline cattle class...

Samsung is coming out with a 19" laptop. Just google "samsung 19 laptop." And in response to someone's question as to why you can't get a Samsung in the U.S., that's because they have a non-competition agreement with Dell... yay Dell.
