Component cables for Xbox in 9880...

I use them but it displays Black and White???

The yellow plug is not a componet plu; but rather a TV Antenna plug. Try SVGA plug and youl should get nice rich colors - you might have to reset some of the settings to SVGA.

Im sorry, I should have been clearer. I have the high definition pack for the xbox. I hook up the cable to the xbox then have the Red, Green, Blue, (Red, White-Audio) that go into my connector (interface cable) that then goes into the s-video, but it displays black and white?? Will I even get a better looking image over s-video or should I return the cables?

Are you trying to connect the output of the X-Box to the input of the 9880? If so, you are using the incorrrect cable as the componet cable provided for the 9880 is output and not input.
