My 5150 got around 2 and a half hours on full brightness.. just surfing around the net and stuff. I was happy with that. And I just had the normal 6 cell battery for my 5150

Unfortunately this same type of wear found on your old laptop happened to my 6000.

I had them replace the trim with a new one. The new trim has a plastic cover over it now.

The sweat and oil of your palm seems to rub the paint off very easily.

I have a plastic cover over the area now.

Yea its just the paint rubbing off.. I swear I take showers haha..

Thats a good idea about a plastic cover, I need to run out and get a few of those

Thats interesting- I might put a clear bit of plastic over that area of the laptop when I get mine. Thanks for the tip!
