1296 in 3dmark 2005

I got Asus Z71V with
1.86GHz CPU
geforce go 6600 128MB
1Gb DDR2 memory

I just did a basic 5tests in 3dmark 2005 and got a score of 1296.

Is this normal? It seems awfully low......

I tested it on 1680 x 1050 resolution.

Is this all that z71v is capable of or is something wrong my system settings..

Please help.

That's actually fine. The benchmarks that you're seeing are all at the default resolution in 3dmark05. Try it there and you'll feel fine about it.

That is a little low, you should be expecting around the 1700s. Theres probably something up with youre settings so you should check that out.

I did not touch nothing.
What score do you get in 1680 x 1050 mode?

I got 1698 in 3dmark 05. I only have 512mb of memory. I didnt do anything with the settings, just downloaded the program and clicked run 3dmark. And i havent updated the drivers at all. Isnt it strange that i got better result than him?

exactly. the default resolution for 3DMark05 is lower than 1680x1050, so scores are higher on default than on the full resolution of the computer

The default resolution is 1024x768. You cant change this in the free version unless you registered. 1296 is a rather low score.

I tested it again all at the default settings and got 1813.
The default setting is at 1024 x 768.

Kamao, what score do you get in 1680 x 1050 mode?
