can my presario 700 be fixed

i have a presario 700 laptop and when i try to install windows it says there is not a hard drive attached the hd has been tested and it works the motherboard has been replaced as well as the controler board is there any way to fix this

the controller board is on the motherboard...

But I would delete the partition and try it again.. sometimes it helps and also make sure its in the BIOS...

had this problem but with my hp desktop and tech support told me to remove the floppy and restart the comp. hit f1 then f5 to reinstall defaults then f10 to save then it restarted and was fine. Try removing or disconnecting your floppy if you have one and restarting like this. Might work who knows ....

Thats good to know... But in laptops we dont use the F5 & F10 normally in the BIOS so something else would have to be done...
