Doesn't the third choice come with free printer, router, and mouse?

I say that's your best deal

if those are your ONLY choices, I would go with the second one

I agree, given that you have a better screen, larger HD on the 2nd machine you listed.. however, what are your needs? If you're just going to be doing basic typing/internet surfing, the 3rd (if it indeed comes with the extra accessories) is also good.

I would still go for the Compaq.

14" is the perfect size for the screen of a lappy. Not too small and thinking about the size, it's easy to move around. Turion is a real mobile processor, which Sempron is not. Sempron gets hotter, it uses the battery faster. No idea to go for that one.

Comparing to the Acer Aspire 3002WLMi... The 80Gb HD is the only strength in my eyes.

I suggest you go to the store and compare those laptops. Would be kinda stupid to compare only the specs.

Props to you on pointing that out! I deserve to be smacked upside the head for not noticing it.. It's that I ran screaming and kicking the other way when I noticed the 14" screen

Once again though, it's going to come down to what you actually plan on using your laptop for. I suppose for a true desktop replacement, you could still go with the Sempron machines, but if you're going to be mobile, then as Ken pointed out, the Turion is the real mobile processor.
