I was about to switch back to Intel as they were banging on 3.2-3.4GHz and AMD was still with XP3000+ or 3200+. Then the 64 came out and my mindset changed again. I am very surprised Intel hasn't came out with something to counter the on chip memory controller on the 64 yet. I guess their original plan was to try to counter it via 4+ GHz until that fell through due to the extreme heat/power consumption the Prescotts were pumping out. I personally think Intel should really look at moving the P-M architecture to the desktop more aggressively. That is going to be their future.
