D810 peoples, How is this laptop? I am considering getting this laptop or 9300 for gaming. I know 9300 is better, but D810 has better size. M70 is too expensive. Is it really worth the 9300 over the D810? Anybody tried games on this laptop?

My boss has one with the x600. It benches about the same as a MR9700, which is descent but a 9300 with the 6800 will give you much better performance in games.

The D810 will do okay in games, but the 9300 will definately do better. You just have to decide which is more important, size or gaming performance. For me, it would be size.

Here's a suggestion to you since people like to tell everyone how GIGANTIC the 9300 is (those that dont have one do this all the time)
Do what I did, during my same dilemma I took some poster board and cut out a template of the 6000, the d810/m70, and the 9300 for 3d visual perception and guess what, for what the 9300 offers, the size isnt that much bigger, bout half an inch deeper and an inch wider than the other models and weigh close to the same give or take a pound depending on lcd panel and battery optiion you choose, (yes wuxga weighs more). Having used both these machines, the 9300 is much better for your needs as it has enhanced multimedia features that the D810 ( a business machine) does not.

The dimensions of each model can be found at Dell, look under their system specs to find them.
