Amen! BTW, I noticed above that the M570 will be shipping with the Radeon X800 XT, but Sager told you that they were no longer interested in using it. So will this laptop be shipping with another card?

Now this is what I have been waiting for, if only it came in a Turion model

Correct, but these specs came Clevo. I am not sure what card Sager plans on releaseing this unit with... I suppose we shall wait and see.
When they start using some sort of track-point, give me a call.

Where is the Turion version of that notebook? I want to see one .

Haha
so true.
But I have to hand it to Intel. As much as I may hate them as a company, and hate the P4, the PM is a really smart processor. I'd rather have Turion if all things were equal, but it's not a bad thing in my eyes to have a PM.
P4 on the other hand is something I'd never touch.

btw, this thing should totally offer a 12-cell battery.

PCI-express has nothing to do with the upgradability of the GPU. Take the NP3880 for example the GPU is soldier on to the MOBO. However I do believe this notebook has a modular card.... but don't quote me on it.

Sorry but www.kenitec.net sold the M570A with the X800 "Pro" (not XT designation but Pro). I'm not sure that clevo build a another 17" centrino laptop

You are right. This link is better (if you click on the picture you are directed to another notebook):

Why would you want Turion?

According to this:
http://www.tomshardware.com/mobile/20050906/index.html

Turion notebook lasts shorther and is slower than Centrino.
Are the price and/or AMD FANism the only reasons ?

Maybe they want to use a 64-bit OS and have the ability to do so in the future?

chugga chugga chugga CHOO CHOO! Here's the logic train!

And if this is even somewhat affordable, I will buy it in a heartbeat.
